HIDA – the Helmholtz Information & Data Science Academy – is Germany’s largest postgraduate training network in information and data science and the roof organization of the six Helmholtz Information & Data Science Schools (HIDSS) who promote young scientists in all research areas. At these schools all across Germany, highly talented graduates do research at the interface between information technologies and other scientific areas, acquiring and deepening unique insights. Thereby, they encounter interesting questions, unprecedented challenges and face open problems. Here, we offer a platform to share experiences and discuss research with a broad public audience.
